HOST A PRIVATE EVENT

We have hosted MANY bridal and baby showers, birthdays and celebrations at the English Rose Tea Room. What better place to invite your guests! Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, attentive service and private use of our well-known and much-loved tea room in the heart of the Sonoran Desert in Carefree, Arizona. And best of all, we do all the clearing up for you after your event!

If you are interested in hosting a private function, we ask that you guarantee a minimum of 25 people in order to secure the tea room for your own private use. We host private parties from 3 pm to 5 pm any day except Mondays and serve our Formal Afternoon Tea (details of which can be found on our menu page). With tax and gratuity included the cost is $60.00 per person. Therefore, the minimum cost is 25 x $60.00 = $1,500.00. For each additional guest, simply add an additional $60.00 per person.

We can comfortably seat 25 people inside the Tea Room, with an additional 25 people seated on the patio should you require additional seating. To reserve private use of the patio, we ask that you guarantee a minimum of 25 people. You can always invite fewer guests but the minimum cost would be 25 x $60.00 = $1,500.00 to reserve the patio.

Private Event Deposit & Cancellation Policy

To reserve your private event date and time, a deposit equal to 50% of the estimated event total is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be charged to the credit card provided and applied toward your final balance.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will forfeit the deposit. However, as a courtesy, the deposit may be transferred one time to a new event date scheduled within 90 days of the original event date, subject to availability.

Because we reserve space, staffing, and resources specifically for your event, the deposit becomes non-refundable within 30 days of the event. The final guest count and event details must be confirmed no later than 30 days prior to the event date.

The remaining balance will be due on the day of the event and will be charged based on the final confirmed guest count.

We can make a celebration cake if you chose to order one from us, however, we do not allow cakes to be brought in from other establishments and we also do not serve alcohol.
